In 2018, our Founder Karin Griffin embarked on a life-changing trip to Belize with her beloved grandmother. It was during this transformative adventure that Karin's grandmother shared stories of her upbringing, shaping Karin's very character and identity. Exploring the places where her grandmother was born, christened, and spent her early years, Karin delved into her ancestral roots and forged a deep connection with her family in Belize.

Having embarked on missions worldwide, from Africa to Asia, Pastor Karin realized she had yet to bring her mission to her own home country. Despite leaving Belize at a young age, her love for her homeland never waned. Captivated by Belize's natural wonders and cultural treasures, she felt a burning desire to illuminate its hidden beauty for its own people to see.

Thus, Kriol Gal was born—a mission board inspired by a global perspective. Belize serves as our initial muse, igniting an extraordinary missionary endeavor that will span the globe. Guided by a divine calling, Pastor Karin and the Kriol Gal team are committed to revealing the innate beauty of countries far and wide, reaching out to those who may have overlooked their own rich heritage.
